Monroe County ARES is not a "club". We are a group of amateur radio operators who have volunteered our time, equipment and skills to help the community and Monroe County EMA with communications when normal communications are down. We also operate a SKYWARN weather net any time there is an active severe weather event. On top of the above, we also provide communication support many community events like marathons, walkathons and river floats.
